Once a standard Template has been created, it can be used over and over again for different signers. In order to use a template, look it up in your Templates list and click the righthand "Use Template" button.
When using a template, any signer and CC roles you specified during its creation can now be filled with contact details accordingly. Additionally, if any Merge Fields were specified while creating the template, these fields can now be filled as well. In our video example a "Price" merge field has been specified for this template. Once all information is entered, your template can be sent for signature.
Send Template Link
Standard Templates can be "used", and Template Links can be sent or signed in-person (see next section: Enable In-Person Signing). In order to send a Template Link, look it up in your Templates list and click the righthand "Send Link" button. Once the Send Link has been clicked you will be redirected to a page where you can enter your signer's name and email address. Complete and submit the form in order to send a signing link to your signer.
Enable In-Person Signing
In-Person Signing is a feature that allows you to disable email address verification for signers and choose to verify the identity of your signers in person on a device of your own. In order to enable In-Person Signing for a Template Link, simply look up your Template Link in your Templates list and choose "Enable In-Person Signing" from the righthand button menu.
Sign Template In-Person
If In-Person Signing is enabled, you can have your signers sign a Template Link directly on one of your devices. In order to sign a document in person, simply look up your Template Link in your Templates list and click the righthand "Sign Now" button.
You will then be redirected to a page where your signer will be required to enter their name and email address. Once submitted, your signer will be redirected to the signing process and can complete it within a few steps. After signing your template, your client will receive a PDF copy of the signed document via email.
